Invista Real Estate

About Us - Company Structure

Invista's assets under management and revenues are derived from a broad spread of clients. Invista has classified its clients into three categories:

HBOS funds

HBOS funds are those that Invista manages on behalf of the HBOS Group and where HBOS is responsible for the promotion and distribution. This includes pension, insurance and investment products sold by the HBOS Group, where a proportion of the proceeds are invested in property. These tend to either be under the Clerical Medical or Halifax brands.

Separate accounts

Separate accounts are client funds outside the HBOS Group such as St. James's Place, which are managed or advised by Invista. Typically the fund will be branded by the client who has responsibility for either or both ongoing distribution and asset allocation decisions.

Collective investor funds

Collective investor funds are Invista branded funds and can either be open or closed ended and listed or unlisted. The distribution of the collective investor funds is usually through the capital markets (as is the case for the Invista Foundation Property Trust and the Invista European Real Estate Trust) or third party distributors (as is the case for the Invista Property Portfolio Fund).
