About Us - Why Invista

Invista was created in September 2006 by way of an initial public offering (IPO) having previously been the real estate fund management business of Insight Investment, the fund management arm of HBOS. Since the IPO, Invista continues to benefit from the support of HBOS who remain the majority shareholder with approximately 55% of the share capital.

Invista is a pure real estate fund manager. Its operations are focused on and its people are specialists in the management of real estate funds.

Proactive asset manager

Invista's rigorous investment process combines external resources with its own team of internal investment analysts to determine optimum sectors and regions to enable it to select the most appropriate properties with the returns required by its clients. Following the selection of assets, Invista actively manages its portfolios to maximise ongoing returns. This active management strategy includes a combination of:

  • maximising potential income;
  • increasing rents/value by undertaking asset refurbishment; and
  • restructuring/re-negotiating leases.

Invista takes an innovative and flexible approach to developing new real estate funds. We offer greater investor choice within the real estate asset class, on a sector and geographic basis, with varying risk and reward profiles, but with the efficiency and liquidity seen in other asset classes.

Active in the UK, Europe and Asia

Invista is active across the UK, Europe and expanded into Asia in 2008 with the launch of the Invista Real Estate International Fund LP.
